The Masjid AI assistant.

• —Answer how-to questions about running your masjid in Masjid Fikra.
• —Give you a financial report — the month’s numbers, in plain words — and answer “how many new members did we get this month?”
• —Give you a way to reach your members: the email or the announcement, drafted and ready for you to send.
• —Change the prayer times everywhere they show — your website, the TV display, the kiosk — and edit what your website and displays say.
• —Create an event, and ask whether you need volunteers for it.
• —See a piece of work through: send the budget to the president, and when it’s approved, email you a link to share with the community.

• —Exactly what a developer building for your masjid can reach through our public API — the same doors, and no others. If the API cannot do a thing, the assistant cannot either.
• —It acts as the person asking, never as more. An admin who cannot see the books cannot ask it for them.
• —It works through the same records your screens do: the same approvals, the same audit trail, the same emails from your masjid. Nothing it does is hidden from you.

• —It does not pull sensitive data unless your masjid’s owner says so. Out of the box it works on the information your masjid creates to publish and share — events, announcements, prayer times, your website — and on counts and totals, never a person. One switch in Settings, which only the owner can turn on, lets it also read names, contact details and giving to answer a question. Off is the default.
• —It never invents a number. If it has not read a figure from your masjid, it says so, and tells you where to look.
• —It is not a mufti. Questions of religion go to your imam; the assistant helps with running the masjid, and says so.

• —Owners and admins of the masjid — the people you name in Staff. Not members, not donors, not anyone on your public page.

• —The words an admin types are sent to Anthropic to get the answer, and the panel says so under the box, every time. With the switch off, that is all that is sent — no records, no member list, no files. With it on, the facts the assistant looks up to answer that question travel with it — a name, a number — and nothing else.
• —We keep a count of how much your masjid uses the assistant. Never the words.

One reason: we are making sure a masjid’s data is secured first. The boundary on this page is written down and tested before any masjid gets the switch — with the same separation between masjids the rest of the platform keeps at the database, and the same audit trail. It is not on for any masjid yet. We will say so here when it is.
