What it costs.
1% of every payment your masjid takes through Masjid Fikra, except zakat, and never more than $500 in a month. Card processing is charged at cost by Stripe or Square, not by us.
Everything is included. No per-seat fees, no setup cost — and the money goes straight to your masjid’s own account.
You can leave anytime, and take your members, donors and gifts with you.

Questions a board asks
- Who pays the 1%?
- Your masjid does. It comes out of each payment as it is made, before the rest reaches your bank. Your donors give exactly what they choose, and are never charged our fee on top.
- What about zakat?
- Nothing is taken from zakat: a gift to a zakat fund, or of a gift type marked as zakat, reaches your masjid without our 1%.
- Is there a ceiling?
- Yes. We never take more than $500 from your masjid in a calendar month, however much it raises.
- What about card fees?
- Card processing is charged at cost by Stripe or Square, not by us.
- Do we need to put a card on file?
- No. Our 1% is taken from payments as they are made, so there is no bill to pay and no card to add.
- What does the first month cost?
- Your first month is free. Anything taken in it is handed straight back to your masjid.
- Cash and cheques?
- Gifts you record yourself, like cash in the box or a cheque, never pass through us and carry no fee.
